The studio
A house drawn once, built well, by people who mean it.
Saint Elfe Chalet Series designs, draws and sells complete house plans for people building their own place.
Saint Elfe Chalet Series is a curated catalogue of A-frame cabins and small houses, drawn by architects and sold as complete, buildable drawing sets. Every house in the record is designed in the studio, modelled in three dimensions, and developed into floor plans, elevations, sections and details that a builder can quote, permit and construct. Each purchase delivers the full set twice: an English edition with imperial dimensions and a Spanish edition in metric, so the same house can be built on either side of a border without redrawing it.
The catalogue is made for people who want a house of their own without starting from an empty page: a family pouring a first foundation at the edge of a forest, a couple returning to a hometown, someone building a second house on land that has been in the family for years. The houses are deliberately small, timber-first and simple to assemble, because the budget is better spent on the light, the view and the craftsmanship than on the structure that carries them.
The studio is run by Andy, its founder and designer, working between architecture, art and technology. Drawings and quantities are accelerated with artificial intelligence; every design decision is made by the architects, and each plan is checked sheet by sheet before it enters the catalogue.
